Does MS WORD 2003 very slow?

My experience is word 2003 takes bit longer to load(the software itself) compared to Excel or Power Point 2003. I think Word does some kind of checking before completely opens up? Is my observation sync with others? Or may be some problem with my installation????

may be some problem with my installation????Word 2003 may simply have more to load on your installation. Especially if
you have any Addins, or Auto macros, lots of toolbars displayed. Things
like that affect loading time.
