Does MS Office have a bar code font available?

I need a barcode 39 font for printing barcodes and numbers on a document.

I'm sure I have seen a barcode font in Office before, but it doesn't appear
on my font list presently.

See http://www.adams1.com/pub/russadam/fonts.html which has links to a
number of Code 39 fonts.

The barcode you saw was probably a Postnet code created with a BARCODE
field. This is the only kind that Word can create without a
third-party font, and it is not Code 39.
