Does manual recalc attach to a worksheet

when setting options to manual recalc - are those options saved with the
worksheet? if another user opens the worksheet, will the cacluation options
be based upon the worksheet, or upon that user's machine options? thanks in
advance

The first WS opened in a session sets the calc mode for that session, *plus*
any subsequent WS opened thereafter.
If those subsequent sheets are saved, their mode will be changed to the mode
of the session.

If those sheets are just opened and then closed without a save, they will
retain their original mode.

If all sheets are closed without ending the session itself, then the next
sheet opened will control the mode of the session.
