You know little envelope that pops up to tell you that you have mail (in
Outlook). Well, mine was showing up even when I didn't have mail. So, I
right clicked on it and saw that you could "Hide" the envelope. So I did.
NOW I can find a way to "Unhide" the envelope. Can anyone help me out.

Go to Tools - Options in Outlook. Choose "Email Options" on the tab labeled
"Preferences." Then choose "Advanced Email Options." In this box, go to the
section labeled "When new items arrive in my Inbox" and check the box labeled
"Show an envelope icon in the notification area." When you choose Hide
Envelope in the system tray it essentially un-checks this choice in the email
options.

Right-click on the Notification area (by the clock) and choose Customize
Notifications. Locate "You have new unopened items" and change the behavior
to "Always show".
