You know it is really frustrating to have a problem with the pc but when you
are seeking help and no one helps it's even worse.

Should you care enough to help, please query/search

I know the rules here but it makes me want to post every hour until someone
does help.
Thanks

Actually, I don't think you *do* know the "rules here" or you wouldn't
have posted this. This is Usenet - a public newsgroup posted on
Microsoft servers. The helpers are volunteers who don't work for the
company. If you didn't get an answer, it could be because:

1. No one reading the group had an answer to your problem and/or wasn't
interested in responding. It's *voluntary* remember.

2. You didn't express yourself clearly and people who glanced at the
question didn't want to bother.

3. People who might know the answer aren't reading the group right now.
Maybe they are on vacation.

Posting every hour will only result in people like me putting you in a
killfile. Most people will not search through a group that can get 500+
new posts a day for one you made three days ago.

So if you want to use these newsgroups effectively, take the time to
read at least some of the information at these links:

About Usenet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
http://groups.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=basics.html - Basics
of Usenet
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page3.html#12-09-02 - a brief
explanation of newsgroups

How to Post:
http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm

http://aumha.org/nntp.htm - list of MS newsgroups
microsoft.public.test.here - MS group to test if your newsreader is
working properly
http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm - how to munge email address
http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm - multiposting vs.
crossposting

Otherwise post your question again, including details as discussed in
the "goodpost" and "smart-questions" links above OR take your machine
to a professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigStoreUSA).

This has nothing to do with "caring". It has to do with you
understanding Usenet and how newsgroups work.

I read your post several hours ago and decieded that you are a dumbass for
selecting the "safe boot" option in the first place instead of simply
tapping f8 when booting.

One more thing, you do have an answer or rather a clue in your first post
<eg>

I didn't post every hour and I do know that it is volunteers which is why I
didn't. I just thought someone would have a heart and at least say there is
no cure or what ever.
But I do appreciate your ability to walk around the issue
luke

Credit where credit is due my freind, one of the volunteers named rick
"Nutcase" is the one suggesting that that would work on more than one post.

I thought that if you were poking out things to remedy someones problem you
might first know how to undo the situation if it went south.

So if you don't mind.. one more thing from this dumbass, you may have
noticed that I responded to that first post with all the things I tried to do
at rajkohli's request but he never came back to say one way or the other.

I know people have lives.. I just figured that if you were to come in here
and comment about whether or not I was a dumbass you should not even reply if
it makes you do such things. I too am a volunteer and my purpose is to help
people not rank them.
My apologies if I have offended you pepole in any way.
Luke

Point taken, and you won't hear that kind of comment again from me. I didn't
mean to sound that way. I have used the newsgroups for sometime now and
always praised you guys for your efforts. This time I was causing more
frustration than it was all worth.
Again I apologize.
Luke

Luke,

Have you sorted out your problem or do you still want help?

To go into safe mode, Reboot the system and keep pressing F8 key until
you get black screen with some characters. Then use your arrow keys to
go to the fist/second item to go into safe mode.

If this isn't the question then plese restate your question so that we
can help you. Don't get into arguments otherwise we all get distracted.
