After a file is compressed by Disk Cleanup because it has not been used
recently, suppose it then becomes used often.

Does it ever become uncompressed?

Thanks

PS
If not it appears we need an app that would check access times an uncompress
files now being used.

Hi,

Windows XP uses compressed files with an alacrity equal to that of an
uncompressed one, there is no need to decompress frequently used files.
