does > 137GB USB drive need registry change besides SP3?

I've got a Win2000 SP3 box. I attempted to connect a 160GB USB 2.0 drive to it
that worked fine on another SP3 box, but it seemed to think there was no room
when I attempted to copy a file to it.

The only difference I can think of is that the >137GB registry entry was not on
the problem box, but I thought that was just for IDE drives.

Is it neede for a >137GB USB drive also? I don't want to experiment and risk
losing the data on the drive.

I also suggest Win2K SP4 and *all* critical updates.
