First off, it seems I have to go round the bend to get to
word. I first have to get into microsoft works, then word
processing. Whatever is saved, goes to history. There is
no desktop icon for word.
Secondly, it seems WordPerfect writes to My Documents.
Having invested in a new computer, I couldn't imagine how
much I would detest this aspect of the program. I
previously had windows 98, which unfortunately was not a
good fit for my current needs. Too bad because this has
been a real disappointment.
If anyone has advise, please feel free to email
