documents automatically zoom to huge size

Is there a new virus out there that causes word documents to zoom to ludicrus
sizes as soon as you open them? It even does this in print preview. Is this
possibly a new major virus? Is there a fix for it?

Note that documents open in the zoom they were saved. To affect future
documents, open the appropriate template and make the change there (for
blank documents you will have to edit the Normal template). See

Not that kind of zoom. I understand that situation. I mean when you click

If this is Word 2007, I believe you can use the scroll wheel on the mouse to
Zoom. Perhaps you're touching the scroll wheel inadvertently?

it was a laptop. and don't forget that it did the same thing in print
preview. it started out small for a split second then zoomed rigth before my
eyes in slow motion.
