Documents and Settings Folder

The Documents and Settings: so much of it seems
redundant. What is the purpose of the third folder down,
Administrator.5QLG...? (1st is plain 5QLG..., then plain
Administrator, then a combo file named
Administrator.5QLG... which is identical to Administrator
(sans .5QL) except that it contains a cookies folder. I
don't recall seeing this combo folder yesterday. I've
had many strange errors lately, though Symantec, Spybot,
DustBusters reports find nothing wrong. Anyone know what
this folder is? And what's a good link for learning
about what files you can live without? Guess I'm like
Candace from a day or so ago, I want to delete what I
don't need, hate things hanging around for no good
reason. Reminds me of my closets.
