Looking for freeware that will manage documents for easy retrieval and
organisation on a PC and/or PC-LAN(W2K).

Also looking for an Electronic DMS that will send online e-forms/documents
to others (for review, edit, etc), track and audit the electronic trail,
report, perhaps use email for ticklers, reminders, follow up and the like.

Suggestions?

I have been looking for the same, so I hope that you get a lot of
responses.

I am currently using Docuvault Home - a free application that is really
quite good. It provides a means to easily scan documents into it, as
well as save other types of electronic data as well.

Good luck.

I haven't found it crippled in any way and I use it with a scanner and
by pulling files into it.

What features have you found to be crippled?

Check out the link given and you'll see what's missing.

It's not as feature rich as the paid version, but it meets many of my
needs - at no cost.

Can't have everything for nothing. :)
