Do you need Agp or a pci graphics card?

How do you tell what type of Agp slot you have?

My computer already supports 3d graphics.

AGP is much better for graphics (Advannced Graphics Port),
if u have an AGP slot it is a brown slot, PCI is white.

Doesn't matter - you can have either, or even both.

How do you tell what type of Agp slot you have?

read the motherboard manual. If the motherboard is recent it should be
compatible with any current AGP graphics card .. you do =not= have to
match the 8x, 4x etc. If you don't know anything about the motherboard,
then www.aida32.hu will tell you (AGP info will be under 'chipset').
