Do you have spam filters for text messages on cell phones?

I am wondering why cell phones don't have the internal function that is like
spam filter to keep unsolicited text messages from bombarding. Nor has the
wireless service provider (server). Do advanced cell phones or service
provider have this technology?

You asked this question in the hardware group already, I believe. Your
post has nothing to do with the Windows XP operating system.
