Hello,

There must be a simple solution to this but I can't figure it out.

I've inserted an Index of Figures (which in this case is actually Tables).

I want it to read:

Responses to Question C.................25

NOT:
Table IX. Responses to Question C.................25

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thank you!

When you want to insert a list of tables that shouldn't include a label and
number, clear the "Include label and number" option in the Table of Figures
dialog box (called the Index and Tables dialog box in Word 97-2003).

If you have already inserted the list of tables, do the following: Press
Alt+F9 to see field codes. Your list of tables will display similar to { TOC
\h \z \c "Table" }. Delete the letter c and replace it with the letter a.
Press Alt+F9 to hide field codes again. Press F9 to update the field.
