Chris

When posting a message to seek assistance from MS on this
board, I entered my real email address.

Since I posted the message several weeks ago, I have
received HUNDREDS of messages to this account that are
infected with Trojans and Viruses.

Seek help if you must, but don't post your email address
on this board.

This (above), along with other advice is covered at

Rickoshay,

The link you provided is product specific to Outlook 2002 (From Office XP).
My link was to generic good advice to assist you in limiting the SPAM you
receive.
The link you provide would only be useful to someone using Outlook 2002, and
since we have no way of knowing what the original poster uses as their
e-mail client (since they even posted through the web interface) the generic
advice may be more suitable.

NOT TRUE. Brannigan is wrong.

At least someone posted a link to a reasonable spot where the obvious for
the insiders plus the simple and not so simple tricks are described. Anybody
with a little imagination can transport and transform those click sequences
to their case.

All others in this site are beating around the bush repeating generic
advices that are good for nothing. E. g. do not give your real e-mail
address in a newsgroup. But never ever told us how to do that!

STOP GENERIC SHIT. If you are unable to help, shut up!

Of course the majority of these links were on the original link I provided.

Also in future do not use profanity in your posts (or they may be removed)

Perhaps you need to relax and read what was written.
The specific link you refer to is not good for many users.
If they need to translate, often they quit in frustration.
However the link Mike refers to applies to almost everyone.
Also you can get more specific information by clicking on the links.

Your reference to "If you are unable to help, shut up!" could be
applied to you since this lone post of yours offers unwarranted
criticism as well as not helping anyone at all.
Your language should really go away as well or it will take your
credibility with it when it does leave..
