If I buy an LCD TV will it work with my computer as a monitor? Thanks.
Yes, but the resolution is normally limited to 1280 x 768, which may be a
bit low for some applications

If your computer has a composite or S-Video output compatible with what
your TV has, yes, but you won't like it -- the composite signal has
nowhere near the bandwidth needed to provide even VGA resolution, so
your image is going to be fuzzy.

If your TV will accept a VGA or DVI signal, then you're in better shape.

A friend has a 42" Plasma screen with VGA i/p and it's horrible (you
can hardly make out some of the text etc) ;-(

All the best ..

LCD TV's operate at MUCH lower resolutions than LCD computer monitors. LCD
TV's have a poorer image.
