Hello... Novice here.. to make a long story short , when I purchased my pc
it came with windows xp home edition pre-installed. I was invected with that
major worm over a year ago, and friend sugested to reload windos xp for me ,
which he did. but when I got the pc back, he installed windows xp
proffessional, with his own copies of the operating system. it seemed fine
at first and I have used it for over a year, but I realize I want home back.
Now when I turn on my pc it asks me which operating sytem I want .. home or
proffessional, but I can only get into proffessional .. I have read about
multiple operating sytems , but have become frustrated , because this seems
beyond my knowledge...because xp home come up as an option to start up I am
assuming the that the drive is already partitioned... any suggestions how I
get windows xp home up and running?
Contact your PC vendor for support (or read the documentation that came with
your machine ) on how to reinstall the machine to as shipped from the
factory. Your PC vendor will either have supplied your with some recovery
CDs or a recovery partition on the hard disk.
You are currently running with an pirated/unlicensed copy of Windows XP
Professional.
