Jennifer

I know there has to be someone out there with an idea of
why I am having this problem.

When I set up a pivot table the field lists are not
present. I have tried everything that I know to do. They
are not hiden and the file is not an OLAP.

I can't possibly have a question that is stumping all of
you! Please, I have to get this done tonight.

Thank you, Jennifer

If you're using Excel 97, there are no dropdown lists. You can
double-click on a field button, and choose items to show or hide.

If you're using Excel 2000, choose Tools>Options, and on the View tab
check that Objects is set to 'Show All'

Yep, got all that checked. Not the problem! I haven't got
a clue. Then on some of the pivot tables that didn't have
the drop down boxs they will just show up out of the blue.
Then I will create another and again no drop boxs. Hmmm!
