Do I need this?

This is on my computer do I need all of these programs? when I go to
add/remove I show this and do not know what it is. Java 2 Runtime Enviroment
SE V 1.4.1_01 size.23mb, and SE V 1.4.2_04 size 130.00 mb, and SE V
1.1.2_05.size 130.00 mb. Can someone tell me what it is for and do I need all
of these or just one?

You need Java to see webpage features, but you don't need several versions
of it. I would uninstall those and go to Sun Microsystems and download the
latest runtime SE.1.4.2_05 http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp

Java is a free programming language that used with the
internet. I used it to develope some internet searching
algorithm. And I had to download it. If you do any of
this then just keep the latest SE v1.4.2_4 otherwise you
can delete all of them.

Windows xp has java libraries in windows. Thats the java
that you use to see webpages in javal
