I just bought a new drive and I want to install my copy of Windows XP Home
Edition on it. My question is will XP allow me to do this? The last time I
upgraded my motherboard a message popped up stating that major changes had
been made to the system and I had to call a number to get another product ID.
Will I have to do this again, or will I have to buy another XP CD for the
new drive all together? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Another Product Key? Are you sure? Re-Activation would have been
required, but getting another Product Key implies that you had to buy a
new license.

There's no limit to the number of times you can reinstall and
activate the same WinXP license on the same PC. Nor is there ever a
charge. Nor does a Product Key (so long as it's not an evaluation
license) ever expire. If it's been more than 120 days since you last
activated that specific Product Key, you'll most likely be able to
activate via the Internet without problem. If it's been less, you might
have to make a 5 minute phone call.

Here are the facts pertaining to activation:

You may have to activate again. Just depends on what you've done previously and when. You don't have to buy a new one.

Simply perform a Clean Install.
Activation will be required but it should be done over the internet in a few
seconds.
If not, choose the option to activate by phone, call the displayed number
to Microsoft.
Usually done in about 5 minutes.

There is need to buy Windows XP again.

Misleading and incorrect information! We seem to have become accustomed
to receiving incorrect information from this geezer!

He is drinking from my bottle without my knowledge!

Another of your typical posts.
Nothing of value provided by you.

To bad you are unable to say exactly what I mistakenly wrote.
Read my other post for the correction and learn exactly what was incorrect.

If you knew the answer, you would have stated if you had any concern for the
OP.
Instead your true purpose is clearly seen by your insult with name calling.
A few more posts like this and you earn being called a troll.

Are you suggesting you never make a mistake?
When you do, it will prove you are as bad as you suggest others to be.

Hey Julius,

Why are you having a go against me? You should be thanking me for
correcting you.

I do make mistakes but I always own up like George Bush, your President
- head of Christian Fundamentalist organization of which you are a
senior member.

Any ideas where I can get Christian Templates for sending out to fellow
christians?

Merry Xmas and a very Happy New Year. Don't drink too much! DUI is a
criminal offence (English spelling)!

Another typical post, nothing at all to contribute.
You are even unable to spell a name with it in front of you.
Followed by more of your infantile insults.
As others of your kind, your post is full of assumptions, many WRONG, again
typical of you.
Good bye ANONYMOUS.

Thank you. I wish he had waited another 10 days. But maybe he couldn't. I was so looking forward to christmas.

I do wear very thick glasses but this is 21st century and we are
required to sit infront of a computer 24/7/365!.

As to "sorry to hear your news" - could this be MVP being taken away?
Does this really matter? Perhaps it is time to rejoice and no more
bending backwards for Bill Gates!

Good bye Joules. Merry XMAS.

"David Candy" <.> wrote in message It about my father committing suicide on Friday.

Oh my. That's such tragic news, David. I am so sorry for you and your family. God bless you all.

So tragic for you and your family, David. A tortured soul now at rest.

Prayers and thoughts with you at this wrenching time.

Once again you are proving to be a complete fool.
