IE 6.0 - In the address bar, I input (for example) yahoo -
and I get --- Service Unavailable - DNS failure
The server is temporarily unable to service your request.
Please try again later.

It seems like the search portion of my browser is not
working correctly?

works OK in Netscape.

Any ideas??

I looked at another post, tried it and it worked .

Tools>Internetoptions>Advanced/Browsing>UNCHECK "Enable
3rd party browser Extensions" and it worked. Make sure
and RESTART...

Todd,
You have only disable the malware, It's still in your computer.
Disabling the 3rd party Browser Extension may also disable some other
functions.

I suggest you remove all the parasites from your system.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

I've run CWS and I have Ad-Aware and registry first aid AND BHODemon and I am clean.

The AUTOSEARCH function is DEAD on the MICROSOFT end!
