Dan Redmon

I recently received the SoBig virus but didn't open it.
But since that time I will log onto my ISP and will not
be able to open any web pages nor receive any email. I
disconnect from the ISP, come back an hour or two later
and it works or doesn't. Then all of the sudden my ISP
says I have entered a invalid username or password and I
will have to create a new connection. This has happened
four times in the last two days.

I'm not sure it is related to the SOBig virus but it's
unusual. I've tried all of the usual fixes, checked my
connection with the ping command "it's AOK"

I've got another computer hooked up in the house and the
settings on it are the same as on the troubled one.

Have I got a corrupted winsock.dll or what? And if I do
how do I fix it.

Also, I've tried the system restore and all the dates I
try to go to it tells me it can't restore to that date.
What gives with that?

Any help will be appreaciated.
