How is the default page set if there's a DNS error?

For example, if you type in www.fffppxxx.com or some other nonsense address,
then you end up with a default page. The default page may be one of a
variety including pages you'd rather not go to!

How to change the default?

Thanks,

Fred

Yes, I've been doing that sort of thing all along.

My question here was how to change the default page that opens when there is
a DNS error or no page found.....

Thanks,

Fred

I see now, no I do not know it could be a .htm or .html file called by the
operating system. Which one?
Sorry.
