dlls and drvs

The solution to run one of my Win95 programs on XP is to
copy and rename one of the drivers in the Windows/system
folder. However, when I copy and rename Winspool.drv to
Winspool.dll XP insists on naming it Winspool.dll.drv so
the program still will not recognize. Any suggestions?
 
Open Windows Explorer, click Tools>Folder Options>View, turn off 'hide
extentions for known file types' before copying the file.
