#DIV/O error

I have a workbook with several indiv. sheets totalling to
one sheet for a dept. total. Columns are set up in weeks
with a monthly total column as well. I would like to get
a running average of data in the monthly total column but
keep getting #DIV/0 since not all weeks are complete on
sheet. Is there any way around this? I'm using a simple
average calc. : =AVERAGE(C12:G12) HELP!
 
Thanks for your help, it didn't work though. I'll keep
racking my brain! In the formula below can you explain
how the program looks at ""? Is it considered 0 or
blank? Number or text?
