ditch LILO and Linux

I'm about to take linux off a friends machine. As it's now it dual-boots
with LILO. I remeber that when you took it off in W9x, booted from a floppy
and say SYS C:
What's the equivalent in XP? I know to boot from the XP CD, but then?
FIXMBR?
FIXBOOT? (I don't think this will be it, as LILO loads before the XP boot
process kicks in)

And no, he'd rather not have the whole system installed anew and clean......



The reason to ditch Linux is he "desperately" needs those 3GB (of an old
10GB disk) as it's getting stuffed.....

Yes, boot with your XP cd and go into Recovery Console and do "fixmbr".
