Distribution lists

I can file all my contacts as Lastname, Firstname. However, when I do a
distribution list, they immediately reformat Firstname, Lastname order. I
want them to stay in Lastname, Firstname order. Please could you tell me how
I do this?

Configure the Display As field for these contacts in the format you want and
the DLs will reflect that.
 
DL's follow the same sort order you set for the address book view. Examine
that. If you don't know how, post your Outlook version so someone can tell
you.
