Is there a way to keep my mail recipients from seeing all
of the names in my distribution list. For instance, I
have a distribution list named "clients" which obviously
contains email addresses of all of my clients. I don't
want each recipient(client) to see the complete list of
names when he receives an email from me that was sent to
the whole group. Is there a solution in both Outlook and
Outlook Express?

Use the BCC field, do a mail merge or use an application like one of these
found here: http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail E-mail
Templates is a personal favorite.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, keith asked:

make the BCC field visible and then put all the addresses in there, nobody
will see anybody's address that way

to make it visible in outlook open a new message , go to the VIEW menu, then
select "BCC field"
