distribution list outlook 2007

I know how to create a dist list one contact at a time. Is is possible to
take a a category and turn it into a dist list in one action.

the best method is to select the category, the choose actions, send to. but
if you use a real DL, create a view that shows just the names and addresses
and paste them into a DL form.
