Distribution List limits

I am running Outlook 2003 under Windows XP Pro.
1: How many email addresses can be in a distribution list?
2: does it make a difference if the list name is entered in the BCC field or
if the list is expanded to show the addresses themselves?

Limit is not set by Outlook. It is set by your mail server.
A DL is always expanded when a message is sent. All the BCC field does is
hide it from the recipients.

smtp.comcast.net outgoing server).

Hi Russ:
FYI:
Contacted Comcast. Their limit for residential customers is 100 addresses
per email and 1,000 per day. The limits apply to the sum of the addresses in
the TO, CC and BCC fields.
