Distribution list- CC

My boss wants me to create a distribution list that will automatically cc: certain members when he selects the distribution list. Is it possible to open the distribution list and select certain addresses to be cc: only? Or possibly create a cc: distribution list nested inside the main distribution list?

Your boss can't have what he wants.

No.

Or possibly create a cc:
distribution list nested inside the main distribution list?

No. The best you can do is to create two lists: one for the To field and
one for the Cc field.
