Two pc's both with XP and IE 6.0.2800 sp2
and both displays the £ sign as a J on web pages.
Any clue as why this is happening ? and how to correct.

It has not displayed here either. It should be a UK Pound sign
displays as a J or a 3 in this case.

Not sure but try this: Go to 'View' menu in Internet Explorer and then to
'Encoding' . Unicode (UTF-8) should be selected

Checked and it is Unicode (UTF-8)
I have 4 pc's on my network and 2 are ok
& 2 have the fault and I cannot see the difference in settings.
It seems transmit and displays the UK Pound sign as random symbols.
Even tried the keyboards, I may try and copy the fonts from a good machine
to a bad one.
