Displaying Shared Calendars

We are using Outlook 2003. I want to always see the calendar for a specific
person. The calendar has been designated as shared and it shows up under
Other Calendars in my Outlook. However, whenever I exit Outllook and reopen
it, the checkbox next to the calendar is unchecked. How can I make it always
be checked?
