Displaying fonts in Word

Back in ancient times - the Windows 98SE era - I had a little utility
that sat on my Word toolbar, next to the regular font drop-down list.
When I clicked on the down arrow for this tool, it displayed a list of
my fonts each in its own typeface - very convenient. Gang, that was
several pooters and operating system ago, and I'e lost track of
things. Does anybody know what this little utility is called, and
where I might find it in a version compatible with Windows XP and
Woord 200n? I'd appreciate it muchly!

I thought so, too, since I seem to remember turning it off.

Hi, Jim,

You don't need that utility any more, since Word 2000 and 2002 can do it
without help. In the Tools > Customize dialog, go to the Options tab and
check the box for "List font names in their font."

The one thing that makes me curious is that I thought this option was
checked by default...

Thang Q, Jay and Suzanne for the reply. I found the box for myself
before I got back online, but I appreciate your quick responses. Ya
know, there's some nice folks in these newsgroups!
