When I right click on the desktop so that i can get the display properties
box up I cant get it up and for some reason the desktop freezes. Does anyone
know how to solve this issue as I have tried restoring the computer and all
this seems to do is cause problems with Windows defender and my virus
software.

Are you confident that the machine is totaly virus/malware free?
