display went from nrmal to sideways.

The information on my monitor (running windows xp) is
now displays sideways. My son said that he was plying a
game on cartoonnetwork.com and in the middle of the game
the display tuned sideways. He said he didn't open any
pop-ups. Can any one please direct me to turn the viewing
to the normal "upright" position. I'm getting a sore neck
reading everything sideways.

Check in the control panel for a video card controller. Some newer video
cards have the option to turn the screen display for monitors that have a
swivel joint.
