Dear Reader

I have a weird problem, which I hope you can help me
solve. My display has turned clockwise 90 degrees and I
cannot get it back. I didn't do anything special (as far
as I know) so I cannot give you much information, which
can help you.

If I turn my monitor physically I can work with not
problems - I just see the display as a letter format.
The display fits the screen (e.g. the clock is the lower
right corner and the Start button is in the lower left
corner as you would expect on a normal display.

I am running WinXP Home edition.

I really hope there are some bright guys out there, who
can help me :-)

Thank you in advance for your help/input.

Best regards

Check the properties of your video adapter. Many, like my nvidia adapter,
allow for display rotation.

Thanks your advise
I am using a graphics card on the mother board. Under
properties it says "Intel 82845G Graphics Controller" and
it dpesn't look like I have any chance to rotate the
display.
Any further hints, please?
Best regards
Bjarne

Please ignore my previous reply to your advice... I
found out (in the end) how to work it out based on your
advice :-) My graphics card had a rotation facility
(which I didn't know) and must have done something stupid
at some point. Thanks a bunch. brgds Bjarne
