Is there a way to display the long version of an e-mail address whe
putting recipients in the corresponding fields.

I have problems identifying to whom the mail is sent to, if I only see

To: Nick1

I’d rather have it this way:

To: Nick1 <[email protected]>

Thanks

If the recipients' addresses are in your Contacts folder, you should be able
to control this using the "Display As" field.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

This MIGHT work only if in address book, but very problematic. However, this
is a generic and cumbersome problem with outlook in that if you go to the
trouble of opening the message (versus reading in preview pane) you will see
the preferred way as "Display Name [[email protected]]". The preview pane
header info should show the same way (and also the same format for the "To:"
field). It's a matter of simplicity.
