I would like to display the taskpad in a sidebar next to my inbox emails so I
can easily drag and drop emails and create tasks. Also with the two side by
side I can decide the what to do next, handle a query in an email or one of
my tasks. It is hard to prioritize when the two are not viewable at the same
time.

You can drag and drop (use a right drag) to the Tasks folder to create a
Task from an email to "easilly drag and drop and create Tasks" This is
possible in all versions of Outlook.

Prioritise by turing ALL work into Tasks and setting prioities and start
and due dates.

Are you aware of any third-party add-ons that would accomplish this. I have
been wanting to do this for a long time.
