My Windows XP O/S display settings are locked at minimum levels for both screen size(640X480) and color (16-Bit). Need ability to go to 256-Bit color and variable pixel size (i.e. 1024X768, etc).
I cannot get to the Inernet from problem PC because I cannot download new ISP software.

Help!!!

Reload the video drivers that came with the PC. Or use a PC that can
connect to the Net to download the latest - from the chip or card
manufacturer's WEBsite.

If you are unfamiliar with the process, ask someone who is to help.

.
Try downloading the latest drivers on another system and
burn to a disk for installation.
Do you mean 256 color? (I did'nt think video cards went
that low anymore)because there is no 256 Bit.
What make and model video card do you have?
