Display settings not updated?

I was told by MSN support that my display settings are not updated??? I don't know how to fix this. Every website that I go to shows pictures distorted. They look blurry and REALLY digital. I took this to Best Buy tonight and they didn't fix it. This computer is brand new. Can someone help me fix this? I'm beginner with this so please be patient. If I don't get this fixed quickly my husband is going to take this back!

I'm afraid Best Buy is not the "Best Place" to go for support. My suggestion
is, go to the web-site for your video card Mfr.and download the latest XP
driver for your card and install it. If you don't know what the card is,
take the link below to get Aida32. Download the "Enterprise" edition.(it's
free) It will tell you what your card is, then go to the appropriate site
for the driver.

You said your display settings needed to be updtated. I take it that you really mean that they said your display drivers. If this is truelly a new computer all you have to do is put in the restore disk that came with it and reload all the software. It will update itself as needed when you go online you can let it go to windows update
