display screen is messed up

If anyone could help me--- my display is set at 4 bit (no
reason why) and it won't let me change it. I tried to
install a new driver for my video card but it was
unsuccessful. Now what?

Get the right display adapter drivers. Go to www.lavalys.com and
download Everest Home (free). Install this and use it to find out what
video card you have and it will give you a link to the latest video card
drivers.

hi im having problems while schrolling down whilst browing pages on line,
instead of moving down smoothly it seems to judder, ive tried mouse options,
display options, internet options but cant seem to fix the problem help
please?

Uninstall your current mouse software and isntall the latest version.
This has been a common thing for older Microsoft IntelliPoint Software.
May be similar on other products too.
