display properties

I had a spy ware on my computer of which I removed and computer no
working fine.

The only problem now is that I do not have the option to select th
"windows xp style".
This in the control panel/ Display Properties/appearance/windows an
buttons.
Under this path you should be able to select either two choices
1) Windows classic style (which is there and currently on)
2) Windows xp style (of which is not there).

Could anybody tell me how to put this choice back on!

Desktop Windows and buttons

Make sure that you have Windows XP as Theme choice.

Right Click My Computer| Properties | Advanced tab | Performance | Settings
button | Visual Effects tab | Select: Use visual styles on Windows and
buttons | Apply | Apply | OK

If you select a visual style other than Windows Classic, that style
determines the appearance of your menus, fonts, icons, and other Window
elements. Including Windows and buttons.
