Hello! I'm running XP with SP2 and noticed since about 2 weeks ago that
whenever I open the Display Properties, either through Control Panel, or by
right clicking on the desktop, that it takes almost 60-seconds before the
window opens. I'd like to know if there is a fix for this, and what may
have caused it if anyone knows. Thank you.

You may experience problems in Windows Explorer or in the Windows shell
after you install security update MS06-015:

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:

Ramesh,
Thank you, that solved the problem. I used the SHELLEXVIEW program to
pinpoint the culprit, and now it works great.
