Display problems

I have enforced a bmp backdrop via gp on the users OU on a win2k domain. The
bmp is automatically downloaded via a login script if not present. XP
machines are showing the bmp, but the win2k desktops just show a blank
screen. I have checked , and bmp is in the correct place (%systemroot%) The
gp also points to the %systemroot% location. Any pointers to where I am
going wrong?
