My MSN IM display name is also grayed out and it won't let me change it.
Also, I changed my address weeks ago and have never gotten the verification
e-mail.
Thank you Jonathan for trying to help others. You have stated before that:
It is grayed out because you have not verified your .NET Passport. In order
to solve this,
you'll need to click on the verification link in the verification e-mail
that will be sent to
you from Passport services after you sign up. If it's already been 48-hours
since you signed
up and you have no received the e-mail, or you delete or never received it,
simply request
another one from Passport Services here:
http://register.passport.net/contactus.srf
The problem is I have already requested a new verification email 2 times and
still nothing.....everytime I sign in to MSN IM it tells me that I need to
verify my address. Which I would love to do if they would send me the email!
Pkease can anyone help me?? Thank you ahead of time!
Also, MSN gives me a ticket number to refer back to after requesting the
verification email. Does anyone know what I am supposed to do with that?
