Display Name in the To field when creating emails

When creating a message I have my emails set up as
O=office or P=personal for the "display name", however, I
cannot see the display name because the "name" field
stretches way past the little tiny box that Microsoft give
you and even when I drag the "display name" closer to the
name field, it doesn't stay. Is there anyway to either
(a) make the select names box bigger or (b) fix it so that
the "display name" stays put.

All of what I am talking about is when you do
File
New
Mail Message, and you hit
To (to search for the names). Thanks

You need to post your Outlook version.
You need to post how you are "setting up" these Display Names.

I would be interested in the answer to this, too. It is basically the same
problem that I have asked about here twice before but have seen no response.
I can't tell from the Address Book list which of the recipient's email
addresses I'm selecting. As the box listing the names is so narrow, showing
only one field, is there anyway to re-order the fields?

I have Outlook XP/2002. I use the standard Contact form to set up the
contacts, with the 'Display_as' field completed to distinguish between email
addresses.

I have replied to each of your posts. Are you able to see replies in your
newsreader?

I'm using Outlook Express 6 as my news reader. I can see this reply, but
just checked again for replies to my post of 7 January (using the 'show
replies to my messages' option in the View menu) and nothing shows up. My
earlier post has gone now - expired I guess.

So I still don't know the answer.

In Outlook 2002 you must use the horizontal scroll bar in the Address Book
to distinguish one address from another. It was a horrible design flaw that
wasn't corrected until Outlook 2003.

Thanks for your response. Guess I'll have to put up with it as I can't
afford the price to upgrade!
