Everything which is displayed on the screen(which ever programme I'm in)
doesn't fit ! I have to drag the mouse from side-to-side and up & down so I'm
able to see the full picture/contents.Think my children have been messing
with things! Can you help?

Right-Click on the desktop, and click on "Properties". When the dialog opens,
click the "Appearance" tab and reset to one of the defaults there.

Do you have a flat panel display?

If so, you likely will need to turn your resolution settings down.

Some video cards also have a panning feature. You may need to turn that off.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who do understand binary
and those who don't.

You have to adjust the resolution.
Open Control Panel>Display>Settings>Change the Screen resolution.

Yes I do have a flat screen monitor, have tried what you mentioned still no
change , just icons etc. bigger and blurred.
Is there any way resverting back to the factory setting?

Your optimal display setting is then most likely 1024X768.

The issue is likely the graphics cards software.

Somtimes you can find a whole host of GC related settings on the advanced
button of display properties settings tab.

Other times there is an icon in the system tray that can access these
features.

I would check the manufacturers web site for details on their specific
software.
