Display lines of text at arbitrary angle?

Short of digging out my old Calcomp plotter routines and drawing the
characters "by hand", is there a way to display lines of text at arbitrary
angles?

If you create a LOGFONT by P/Invoking CreateFontIndirect you can do so. If
you search for LOGFONT in this NG you will find more information.
