My display adapter is giving me a code 31 error saying:

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers
required for this device. (Code 31)

I have read on microsoft KB that this means a driver the display adapter
depends on is not working. However, there are no other devices with errors.
I have tried 2 different drivers for that chipset (intel 810). None of them
work. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW, this problem occured when I uninstalled a program (Acrobat reader)

Let's not confuse chipset drivers and video drivers. The video
adapter drivers will, however, be probably on the same cdrom
that holds the Intel chipset drivers, along with other utilities
that the motherboard might need. Sort out the cdrom or read the
motherboard manual on how to proceed at getting the right drivers
installed.

I just know I've got the right driver. It worked fine before. I think
there is some corruption in my OS. I think I just need to reload the OS.
Any other ideas?
